ILOILO City – Two suspected drug pushers were accosted on Thursday.
Police caught the 31-year-old Restel John Ladrillo and the 42-year-old Carlo Barcellano in separate operations.
Around 2:45 a.m.in Sofia lodging house in Barangay Infante, Molo district, Ladrillo sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover police officer for P200.
Four more sachets of shabu, a weighing scale, a lighter, a pair of scissors, and a pencil were further recovered from him.
Police also caught the 52-year-old Jorge Garcia, who was at the lodging house to buy shabu.
Ladrillo and Garcia were detained at the Molo police station lockup cell.
Around 3 p.m.,an undercover officer also caught Barcellano in Barangay Cubay, Jaro.
The resident of Barangay San Isidro, Jaro, sold a sachet of shabu to the poseur buyer for P200.
Ten more sachets of shabu were seized from him.
Barcellano was hauled to the Jaro police station lockup cell.
All three suspects were facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
