ILOILO City – Throwing his bag at an “annoying” dancer in a club was a mistake.
The bag of Joseph Juanga, 23, of Barangay San Juan, Molo district was stolen while he was dancing with friends in MO2 Ice at Smallville entertainment complex in Mandurriao, a police report showed.
His bag contained P10,000 cash, a Samsung J2 Prime smartphone and several identification cards, the report stated.
Juanga accused Joey Arboleda, 28, of Barangay Buyuan, Tigbauan, Iloilo of taking the bag.
He told the Mandurriao police that they did not invite Arboleda but he joined their group at around 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 22.
Juanga got so annoyed at Arboleda’s dancing he threw his bag at the latter. Arboleda then grabbed the bag and ran outside MO2 Ice, police said.
Juanga ran after Arboleda. When Juanga got to the latter and demanded for his bag, Arboleda denied that he had it and fled, said the police.
Arboleda cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Police were still investigating the incident./PN
