ILOILO – A newly-identified street-level drug suspect was nabbed in Sitio Kukot, Barangay Talausan, Dumangas town around 11 a.m. yesterday.
The 37-year-old Cesar Docdocil, a resident of the place, is a coconut vendor. He claimed he was selling shabu because of poverty.
A police poseur buyer bought a sachet of suspected shabu from Docdocil for P15,000, according to Police Master Sergeant Terrence John Soria, investigator of the Dumangas Municipal Police Station.
Operatives further recovered three sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 12 grams and valued at P81,600.
Docdocil was imprisoned in 2015 for drug-related charges and was released in 2019, police said.
The suspect was detained at the Dumangas Municipal Police Station and will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
