BACOLOD City – Police arrested a woman in Barangay Granada.
The 65-year-old Nancy Ramos was accused of violating Republic Act 8282, or An Act Further Strengthening the Social Security System Thereby Amending for this Purpose, Republic Act 1161, as Amended, Otherwise Known as the Social Security Law.
Ramos was caught on Nov. 17 on the strength of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Eduardo Sayson of the Regional Trial Court Branch 53 in the city.
Ramos was detained at the Police Station 5 lockup facility.
The court recommended a P24,000 bail bond for Ramos’ temporary liberty./PN
