BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, in Barangay Pahanocoy.
Officers from Police Station 8 led by Chief Inspector Ruel Culanag caught the 36-year-old resident Magnus Maluyan on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Rosario Ester Orda-Caise of the Regional Trial Court Branch 48 in the city.
Magluyan was detained at the Police Station 8 lockup facility on Dec. 4, a police report showed.
The court recommended a P40,000 bail bond for Magluyan’s temporary liberty./PN
