BACOLOD City – A woman was found dead in a sugarcane plantation in Barangay Bato, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental.
Grandson Gerald Gonzales Jr. found Haydelita Patagani’s body on Sept. 23 after she went missing the day prior, a police report showed.
Patagani’s body was rushed to the Hinigaran Medical Clinic but the attending physician said she was long dead.
Patagani was last seen around 7:30 a.m. before she went to a relative’s house and never came back, police said.
The police report showed Patagani was suffering from tuberculosis./PN
