BACOLOD City – Police were locating two women after they fled upon the confiscation of their illegal “fruit game” machine.
Merlynda Damago and Velina Lucot, residents of Barangay Banago, were the owners of the machines, records from the Police Regional Office 18 showed.
The Special Operations Group of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO)-Intelligence Unit confiscated the machine on Sept. 11.
BCPO director Senior Superintendent Jack Wanky said the suspects, who were still at large, will be facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602, which prescribes stiffer penalties for illegal gambling./PN
