BACOLOD City – Resort employees found a man’s body floating in a fishpond yesterday in Barangay Tomongtong, EB Maglona, Negros Occidental.
The body was positively identified as resident Jesus Sabedoria, 78, police said.
Joel Escaner and Winnefer Bonganseso, who worked at Ruso Resort in the village, saw Sabedoria’s body floating around 7:30 a.m., a police report showed.
Escaner and Bonganseso reported to the EB Magalona police station.
Sabedoria – who suffered from high blood pressure and kidney trouble – was believed to have drowned, police said.
Sabedoria left their house around 10 a.m. on Sept. 12, daughter-in-law Amelia said./PN
