ILOILO City – In Barangay Calampitao, Igbaras, Iloilo a farmer got hacked.
The 45-year-old Jimmy Eufran was taken to the Guimbal District Hospital for a hack wound in the abdomen on Oct. 14.
A suspect had been identified – the 59-year-old Benedicto Encia, councilman of Barangay Calampitao.
The hacking happened around 5:30 p.m. Eufran and Encia had a heated argument.
A bolo was used to hack Eufran twice.
Encia surrendered to the police./PN
