BACOLOD City – A 34-year-old illegal fishing suspect was caught in EB Magalona, Negros Occidental.

Judge Danilo Balagtas of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court (Barotac Viejo, Iloilo) ordered the arrest of Artemio Albercal, a resident of EB Magalona.

On Monday, police served Albercal an arrest warrant issued on Sept. 26 last year.

The suspect was accused of violating Fisheries Administrative Order No. 246 and Republic Act (RA) 8550 (The Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998), as amended by RA 10654.

The court set the bail at P12,000./PN
