BACOLOD City – The court denied bail for a man charged with rape in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
The 30-year-old Rey Labed, a farmer and resident of Sitio Bulad, Barangay Quezon, San Carlos City, was caught on Nov. 20 on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Kathrine Go of the Regional Trial Court Branch 59 in San Carlos City, a police report showed.
The warrant was issued on Sept. 7.
San Carlos City police led by Superintendent D’Artagnan Katalbas Jr. staged the arrest.
Labed was detained at the San Carlos City police station lockup facility./PN
