BACOLOD City – A motorcycle and a cargo truck crashed against each other on Rizal Street in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

The 31-year-old motorcycle driver Larry Aba of Barangay Payauan, Candoni, Negros Oriental died, a police report showed.

Police said Aba was driving the motorcycle when he crashed against the cargo truck driven by the 25-year-old Kevin Andaya of Barangay Luyang, Mabinay, Negros Oriental on Nov. 20.

Aba fell on the concrete road and sustained injuries on the different parts of the body.

He was rushed to the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City where he was pronounced “dead on arrival.”

Andaya, on the other hand, surrendered to the Kabankalan City police. He was detained.
