ILOILO City – In Barangay Linabuan Sur, Banga, Aklan, a member of the Philippine Marines died in a vehicular collision.
The motorcycle that Michael Romero of Barangay Paningayan, Madalag, Aklan was driving crashed against a Toyota Corolla driven by Jonathan Laiz of Barangay Linabuan Sur, Banga, a police report showed.
Romero sustained head injuries.
He was taken to the Panay Health Care in the capital town of Kalibo where he was pronounced “dead on arrival,” police said.
The incident happened at 8 p.m. on Tuesday./PN
