ILOILO City – A native of Negros Oriental was found dead in his boardinghouse in Barangay Sambag, Jaro district, a police report showed.
It was not immediately clear what killed the 40-year-old Nelco Deguit of Barangay Dahili, Mabinay, Negros Oriental.
At around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Deguit complained that he was not feeling well, his fellow tenant Obido Jeremiah, 26, told the police.
Jeremiah went out to buy snacks and returned at around 9 a.m.
He later found Deguit lifeless in his room at around 10:30 a.m., the police report stated.
Police said his relatives requested that Deguit’s body be taken to Mabinay./PN
