ILOILO City – Department of Agriculture (DA) assistant secretary for the Visayas and for Regulations Atty. Hansel Didulo was the resource person in a televison talk show entitled “Kape kag Isyu” on Nov. 12 at the Hotel Del Rio in Molo district.
Didulo discussed DA’s 10 key objectives under the leadership of President Rodrigo Duterte that included the long laid but delayed plan for food sufficiency which the previous administration had failed to attain and is now perceived to take another two years to realize.
Didulo also cited the sufficient supply of meat in the country compared to our suffering neighbors and claimed we were not hit by different animal diseases from the previous years to date.
He also mentioned the government’s program of providing free irrigation to lowly farmers while also emphasizing on the need to replenish the trees cut by loggers in watershed areas to sustain the supply of drinking water in our thickly populated areas.
Otoniel Bing Gonzaga, former punong barangay and member of the Sangguniang Bayan ng Paviawas also present in the talkshow representing the “Kilusang Pagbabago” movement of the Duterte Administration.
