AKLAN – A man was caught with marijuana at the Caticlan Airport in this province at around 1:50 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14.
Authorities identified the suspect as alias “ Rico”, 33, and a resident of Davao City.
Police reports revealed that during a regular body frisking at the airport’s final security screening checkpoint, a security screening officer found a pack of cigarette inside the suspect’s pocket.
Upon further checking, the security screening officer found a transparent plastic sachet containing suspected dried marijuana leaves inside the cigarette pack.
The suspect was taken into custody by the police. He will be charged for violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act 9165,or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
