BACOLOD City – Two delivery men were arrested for entering a compound without permission from the owner in Barangay San Jose, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.

They were identified as the 55-year-old Ernesto Belleta of Barangay Balud, San Fernando, Cebu and Junrey Egloria, 38, of Barangay General Climaco, Toledo City, Cebu.

Egloria was on board a minibus with plate number XAY-299 driven by Belleta at around 5 p.m. on Nov. 17 when they entered the compound owned by the G Holding, Inc., the report stated.

The minibus was registered under Caritas Manila, Inc. owned by Exequil De Gracia of Barangay Pitalo, San Fernando, Cebu.

It was loaded with steel cutting materials such as a hose for oxygen acetylene, hard band, steel shoes, gloves, cutting tapes, and goggles.

Belleta said they were hired by De Garcia to deliver the materials to the compound.

Accoring to the police, the security guards did not notice that the minibus has entered the compound.

Belleta and Egloria were detained at the Sipalay City police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Article 281 of the Revised Penal Code providing penalties for other forms of trespassing./PN
