ILOILO City – From a department store on Guanco Street, a shoplifting suspect was detained at Police Station 1.
The 39-year-old Junly Castro of Silay City, Negros Occidental was accused of stealing a can of milk.
The milk cost P1,945, according to department store security guard Gerry Daniel of La Paz district.
According to Daniel, Castro left the store without paying for the milk at the cashier around 6 p.m. on Dec. 12.
The suspect was already outside the store when arrested, said the security guard./PN
