With the support and assistance of the Department of Tourism Region 6, this project is geared towards the promotion of the beauty of the region through the artworks of recognized artists in each province. Different tourists’ attractions of Antique, Aklan, Capiz, Guimaras and Iloilo will be showcased through video presentations.

“Art can strengthen the tourism industry. Promoting tourism through arts can lead to economic development by drawing people’s interest towards the culture of the region, as well as invigorating skills and talents of our local artists,” DOT Region VI director Atty. Helen Catalbas said.

The “My City, My SM, My Art” of SM Supermalls is a take-off from the “My City, My SM” campaign which promotes tourism; “My City, My SM, My Cuisine,” which highlights the culinary specialties of the host cities and the “My City, My SM, My Crafts,” which is a celebration of traditional arts and modern designs.
