BACOLOD City – A public utility jeepney (PUJ) driver allegedly stabbed a fellow PUJ driver following an altercation in Barangay Mansilingan.
Police Station 7 operatives arrested the 46-year-old Edwin Halayahay of Barangay Alijis and hauled him to the station’s lockup cell.
The 46-year-old Jonathan Duo of Barangay Cabug died. He had stab wounds on the left chest and stomach.
An altercation ensued when Duo drove his PUJ ahead of Halayahay’s to prevent the other driver from getting passengers around 12 noon on May 13 in Bangga Rizal, investigation showed.
His anger prompted Halayahay to chase and stab Duo, Police Station 7 said./PN
