BACOLOD City – Four drug suspects were arrested in two separate buy-bust operations that officers from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) staged in the city on Dec. 9.
PDEA agents caught Kristine Faith Derla and Jonard Urbano at Abada Sky building in Barangay Vista Alegre and confiscated from them seven sachets of shabu weighing five grams and drug paraphernalia.
The confiscated shabu were valued at P35,000, a PDEA spot report showed.
In Barangay 8, Esmeralda Derla and John Romeo Chomo were caught with three sachets of shabu weighing two grams valued at P10,000, another PDEA spot report showed.
The suspects were detained and face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (With Ian Paul Cordero/PN)
