BACOLOD City – A suspected illegal drug dealer was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Handumanan.
Police Station 10 also caught the two students accompanying the 47-year-old Mary Jane “Boyet” Castillo — the 20-year-old John Mark Tusalem and the 19-year-old Hugh Garreth Villaluna.
Senior Inspector Ramel Bustamante, police station chief, clarified that Castillo was the target of the April 22 operation.
Five plastic packs of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia were recovered from Castillo.
Castillo is facing charges for violation of sections 5, 11 and 12 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The suspects will be tested for drug use. If they test positive, Tusalem and Villanuna will face charges for violating Section 15 of the same law, Bustamante said./PN
