ANTIQUE – Authorities arrested an alleged drug peddler and seized from him around P262,500 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Esperanza, Culasi town.
The 21-year-old alias “Shawn” was caught around 2:40 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, by joint operatives of the Culasi Municipal Police Station’s (MPS) Special Drug Enforcement Team, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Antique and Antique Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit.
Recovered were a total of 15 grams of suspected shabu and P3,500 in buy-bust money.
The suspect is now under the custody of the Culasi MPS, facing charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002)./PN
