BACOLOD City – Two drug suspects were nabbed in separate police operations in Cauayan, Negros Occidental.
The 29-year-old Emart Evangelista was arrested after he sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer around 6 p.m. on Monday in Barangay Guiljungan, Cauayan, a police report showed.
Thirty minutes later, police caught the 30-year-old Earla Mae Maquiling in Barangay Poblacion, Cauayan, the report added.
A sachet of suspected illegal drugs each was recovered from the suspects, police said.
They were detained in the lockup facility of the Cauayan municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
