ILOILO City – Policemen were preparing a string of charges against a drunken man they arrested in Barangay Rizal Ibarra, City Proper.
The rowdy 37-year-old Ritche Amallar was detained at Police Station 1 on Dec. 18 around 8 p.m.
Disturbed neighbors sought the police’s help. Amallar was allegedly pelting their houses with bottles.
The arrest was not easy; Amallar was defiant and verbally abusive. It took the responding policemen some time to subdue him.
The police were charging Amallar with alarm and scandal, resisting arrest and oral defamation./PN
