BACOLOD City – A man was found dead in Barangay Taloc, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified him as 67-year- old Ramon Hernaiz, a resident of the village.
Hernaiz’s lifeless body was discovered on a drainage canal around 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 7, a police report showed. He sustained injuries on the head, it added.
According to police investigators, the victim – who was reportedly drunk – was last seen riding on a bike going home after having a drinking spree with his friends.
Officers of the Bago City police station have yet to rule out foul play in the incident./PN
