ILOILO City – Police arrested a drunken man in Barangay Poblacion, Leganes, Iloilo.
The 21-year-old Ian Shalom Matullano of Barangay Divinagracia, La Paz district hit Clark Lawrence Pudadera’s head with a bottle of beer, police report showed.
The incident happened in front of a store around 2 a.m. on Thursday, police said.
Pudadera sustained injuries on the nape and was brought to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district for treatment.
It was however not immediately clear if what triggered the assault.
The suspect was arrested and now detained in the lockup cell of the Leganes police station, facing charges./PN
