ILOILO City – A .9mm pistol was confiscated from a customer of an eatery in Barangay Bolilao, Mandurriao district.
Policemen took to the Mandurriao police station the 37-year-old Praud Joan Animas of Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao around 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 21.
The suspect failed to present pertinent papers (gun license and permit to carry outside of residence) about his .9mm pistol, according to arresting officers Senior Police Officer 2 Vicente Demadara and Senior Police Officer 4 Rene Matulac.
The suspect concealed the gun – with four bullets – beneath his shirt, they said.
Animas faces a charge for violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
