ILOILO City – If a resident of Barangay Lapuz Norte, Lapuz district were to be believed, a neighbor defamed and stabbed her.
Virginita Quitzo, 48, told the police that around 10:30 a.m. of Nov. 20 Maylyn Perasol, 42, verbally abused her then stabbed her with a pen on the left upper arm.
Perasol also threw a chair at her, Quitzo added.
During a mediation, Quitzo said, Perasol further threatened her.
“Patyon ta ka! Indi lang amo na maagyan mo sa akon!” Quitzo quoted Perasol as supposedly warning her.
The police referred the case to the barangay lupon of Lapuz Norte./PN
