BACOLOD City – A bar employee was stabbed around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday on Lacson Street, Barangay Mandalagan.
Eugene Santellanos, 22, a resident of Purok Matahum, Barangay Tangub, sustained an injury on his chest.
Police identified the suspect as Rico Sioson, 19, of Purok Dawis, Barangay 14. He fled after the incident.
Investigation showed that Santellanos was kicked by Sioson for unknown reasons. When the victim went outside, the suspect followed him and hit him with a bottle of beer.
Sioson stabbed the employee using the broken bottle, police said.
The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment./PN
