ILOILO City – Police in Pavia, Iloilo caught a woman wanted for estafa two years after she was charged.
The 48-year-old Maila Fantilagan, a resident of Barangay Sambag, Jaro district, was arrested at Parc Regency subdivision in Pavia.
Officers served her a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Juana Panigbatan-Nafarrete of the Regional Trial Court Branch 38.
Judge Nafarrete set the bail for Fantilagan’s temporary liberty at P28,000.
The suspect was detained at the Pavia police station after her arrest around 7 p.m. on Aug. 12./PN
