ILOILO – Nine sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P500,000 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bigke, Leganes, Iloilo.
“High-value” drug suspect and former cop Andy Aspero, 22-year-old Jovan Zarragoza, 39-year-old Liza Dionora, 31-year-old Joremae Mena, and 28-year-old John Joseph Raven yielded the suspected illegal drugs, a police report showed.
Aside from suspected shabu, a P60,000 marked money was also recovered from them around 5 p.m. on Nov. 21, the police said.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Leganes municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
