BACOLOD City – A former drug convict was shot to death in Barangay San Isidro, Toboso, Negros Occidental.
The 35-year-old resident Lady Sultan died of gunshot wounds on the body and head, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, Sultan was outside his house when four unidentified suspects peppered him with bullets around 12:45 p.m. on Friday.
He was rushed to the Dr. Vicente Gustilo District Hospital in Escalante City, Negros Occidental where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Recovered from the crime scene were four empty shells of a .45-caliber firearm.
Officers of the Toboso municipal police station have yet to identify the suspects and the motive in the shooting./PN
