BACOLOD City – A farmer was shot to death in Barangay Canlamay, Ilog, Negros Occidental.
The 41-year-old resident Ricky Castro sustained gunshot wounds on the body. He died on the spot, police said.
According to police investigation, 12 alleged New People’s Army members peppered Castro with bullets around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Officers of the Ilog municipal police station have yet to identify the suspects and the motive in the incident./PN
