BACOLOD City – A farmer was shot fatally by unidentified suspects in the Barangay Laga-an, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
Resident Eden Buenavista, 40, was feeding his cows around 5 a.m. on Tuesday when the gunmen fired at him repeatedly, a police report showed.
Buenavista sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died on the spot.
Police have yet to determine the suspects and the motive in the shooting./PN
