BACOLOD City – A fish vendor was arrested in a buy-bust operation Barangay Zone 5, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Six sachets of suspected shabu worth P6,800 were recovered from 28-year-old Junjun Iglesias, a resident of the village, a police report showed.
The suspect further yielded an improvised pin gun and four bullets of a .9mm pistol around 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 12, the report added.
Iglesias was detained at the Talisay City police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) would be filed against him./PN
