ILOILO City – Two men were arrested for engaging in a fistfight inside a Molo-Mandurriao public utility jeepney.
Reniel Palcis, 19, of Barangay So-oc, Arevalo district and Antonio Melocoton, 31, of Barangay Pali-Benedicto, Mandurriao were taken to the Mandurriao police station at around 10:30 p.m.
A heated argument between them led to the fight at around 10 p.m. on Wednesday while the jeepney was on R. Mapa Street, Barangay Oñate De Leon, Mandurriao, a police report showed.
It was not immediately clear what the argument was about. The two sustained injuries.
The incident caused “fear and anxiety” among the other passengers, police said./PN
