French grandeur in Iloilo City skyline; Iloilo Business Park’s Saint Honoré residential property

BY PEARL RYLENE MAE SOCIAS

A FOREIGN elegance, but within the noble city of Iloilo?

This is the standard that Megaworld’s 72-hectare township offers. Part of the imposing horizon of Iloilo Business Park is a mid-rise condominium tower that exudes the character of French living.

Saint Honoré  residential property took design cues mainly from its namesake, the Rue Saint-Honoré, a street in Paris, France, known for its upscale boutiques and museums. It is located within the 1.1-kilometer Festive Walk Parade, hailed as the longest dining strip in Visayas and Mindanao.

Megaworld and Asia Affinity executives raised a toast for the French-inspired Saint Honoré. (from left to right) Asia Affinity Property Management, Inc. property manager Shown Arceta, Megaworld Western Visayas township director Jogie P. Viceo, Megaworld Regional RFO senior assistant vice president and head Jennifer Alvaro, Megaworld Public Relations and Media Affairs vice president Harold C. Geronimo, Asia Affinity Corporate Strategies and Development head Luigi Miranda and Asia Affinity Corporate Hospitality Operations manager Andrew Fernandes.

To show Ilonggos the standard of condominium living Megaworld offers, it recently held the first Media Tour Event for Megaworld’s Ready-for-Occupancy Properties.

Taking the idea of foreign living within the comforts of the City of Love, the 10-story Saint Honoré is doused with Parisian architecture classics but with soft pastel exteriors that complement the Festive Walk Parade.

Upon entry to the high-ceilinged lobby, you’d experience almost instantly the glamor of the old and the minimalism of the new. Its eclectic color theme consists of beige and light gray, with blue and gold for a pop.

Situated in the lobby as well are the Property Management Office and the mailbox room. A hotel bell cart is also readily available for your luggage or groceries after shopping at the Festive Walk Mall.

On top of Iloilo Business Park’s security details, Saint Honoré  has 24/7 closed-circuit television cameras. Being big on data privacy, securing footage when needed is only allowed following proper procedures.

It is also equipped with seismic accelerographs, or earthquake recording instruments, installed at certain points and levels of the building to provide continuous monitoring and recording of ground movements. It also saves data should the government need it.

In the heart of the residential property is an open atrium, inviting unobstructed natural light and actively providing fresh ventilation. It has a landscaped garden, pergolas, and French bistro-type outdoor furniture.

The North Wing, apart from the 168 residential units, houses most of the amenities, including the swimming pool and lounge, jacuzzi, fitness center, indoor spa and event halls. The South Wing, meanwhile, has 155 residential units.

Residences range from studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, executive one-bedroom and executive two-bedroom. Selected units have balconies overlooking the Megaworld township’s promenade.

The deliverables for ready-to-occupy ceramic-finished units include a fully fitted kitchen (with cooktop and rangehood, oven, modular under-counter, and overhead cabinet), modular closets in the bedroom(s), split-type air conditioning units, and fiber-optic ready built-in data boxes (for internet, cable and telephone lines), among others.

Every deliverable unit also has a video intercom with an emergency button that connects every unit to the reception lobby. The one-way camera and two-way audio intercom allow you to conveniently verify guests without having to run down the halls.

Meanwhile, Saint Honoré’s retail and dining strip on the ground level gives you close access for a live-work-play balance.

Saint Honoré  is truly giving you an experience of some of the world’s best by transforming “condominium living” in Iloilo without fully alienating domestic elegance and bliss from the hustle and bustle of city life./PN
