Gasoline, diesel, kerosene prices up 3rd consecutive week today

MANILA – Higher pump prices of petroleum products will again greet motorists today, Tuesday, marking the third consecutive week of fuel price increases.

In an advisory on Monday, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said it will hike prices per liter of gasoline by P1.45, diesel by P1.45, and kerosene by P1.35.

Petro Gazz will implement similar changes, excluding kerosene which it does not carry.

The changes will take effect 6 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26. Other firms have yet to announce adjustments for the week as of posting time.

According to the latest available data from the Department of Energy (DOE), prices per liter of gasoline in the country currently range from P41.80 to P59.34, diesel from P40.35 to P47.30, and kerosene from P49.30 to P52.45. (GMA News)
