BACOLOD City – A 12-year-old girl drowned in a river in Barangay 13, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Police withheld the name of the minor but said she was with her father swimming.
Around 2:40 p.m. on July 4, the girl was swept by strong water currents.
She was rushed to a nearby health facility where she expired./PN
