BACOLOD City – A farmer in Barangay Poblacion, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental committed suicide by hanging.
The body of the 40-year-old Boy Rusiana Emperado was discovered hanging from a star apple tree, police said.
Emperado already attempted to kill himself using a knife around 11:40 a.m. on April 19 in the house of their mother, also in Barangay Poblacion, said his brother, who was unidentified in the police report.
Emperado’s brother was taken to a hospital for a postmortem examination after it was found around 6 a.m. on April 20, police said./PN
