BACOLOD City – An improvised firearm was seized from a Barangay 3 resident at the entrance of the Panaad Park in Barangay Mansilingan.
The 25-year-old Ronie Ramos of Barangay 3 was hauled to the Police Station 7 lockup facility.
Provincial Public Safety Company 1st Platoon officers led by Police Officer 2 Fredo Yales were conducting body frisking at the park, where the 24th Panaad sa Negros was ongoing, when they confiscated a pen gun and live ammunition for a 9mm pistol and a 12-gauge shotgun from Ramos on Sunday.
Ramos was facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
