BACOLOD City – Police raided a house in Barangay Balingasag, Bago City, Negros Occidental, leading to the recovery of a loose firearm.
A .38-caliber revolver loaded with five live bullets was seized from 52-year-old resident Rogelio Taborete, a police report showed.
The police conducted the raid on the strength of a search warrant around 8 a.m. on Aug. 21.
The suspect was placed under custody of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in the province, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
