ILOILO City – A grenade and a firearm were confiscated from a resident of Barangay Moroboro, Dingle, Iloilo.
A search warrant was served Saturday to 47-year-old Edwin Anorico, according to a police report.
Officers seized from the suspect a hand grenade and a 12-gauge shotgun with ammunition around 6:30 a.m. on Jan. 30.
The suspect was detained at Dingle police station lockup cell, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
