BACOLOD City – A loose firearm was recovered at a public market in Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental.
Two members of the Barangay 5 Peacekeeping Action Team reported to the Mosies Padilla municipal police that they found a “suspicious item” inside a sack placed under a stall on Nov. 17, a police report showed.
The police responded to the area and confirmed that the item was a homemade gun (sulpak) with ammunition.
The firearm is now under the custody of the police station./PN
