BACOLOD City – Police arrested a village chief in Barangay 9, Tigbauan, Iloilo for violating the election gun ban.
The village chief was identified as 66-year-old Anecito Cabagsican of Barangay Canabuan, Tigbauan.
Officers from the municipal police station seized a 12-gauge shotgun from Cabagsican around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.
Cabagsican was detained in the Tigbauan police station, facing charges./PN
