ILOILO City – Unlicensed firearms and ammunition led to a man’s arrest and detention yesterday in Tigbauan, Iloilo.
Police seized a 12-gauge shotgun, a .38 revolver, a .357 revolver, and ammunition from the house of 56-year-old Ramon Gargarita in Barangay Sapa.
Officers conducted the search on the strength of a warrant issued by Judge Nelita Jesusa Bacaling of the Regional Trial Court Branch 67.
Gargarita was detained at the Tigbauan police station custodial facility.
He is facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
