ILOILO City – The decomposing man found in Barangay Tahing, Calinog, Iloilo on Oct. 10 was murdered, according to investigators.
The still unidentified victim was discovered by village councilman Alfredo Arcalde around 4 p.m.
Based on the autopsy report, the man was struck on the head with a hard object and his neck was slashed.
The man was believed to have been dead for several days already, police said.
The cadaver was buried in the Calinog public cemetery.
