ILOILO City – Heavy wind accompanying rains yesterday toppled an electrical post in Villa Pacita Subdivision, Barangay San Juan, Molo district.
The incident at around 9 a.m. caused a power outage in the entire Villa Pacita, subdivision security guard Marjun De Guzman said.
“A few parts of Barangay San Juan were also affected,” he said.
No one was injured. Panay Electric Company (PECO) temporarily cut off power supply to the subdivision, De Guzman said.
PECO personnel removed the dilapidated electrical post and replaced it with a new one at around 11 a.m. (Carolyn Jane Abello, trainee reporter/PN)
