ILOILO City – An 18-year-old student from Barangay East Baluarte, Molo district was stabbed on the chest at a wake. The suspect was a cook, a police report showed.
There was a misunderstanding between Jireh Miguel “Jiji” Robles and the 52-year-old Ferdinand Belleza, police said.
At around 2:45 a.m. on Oct. 13, Robles punched Belleza on the mouth, prompting the latter to retaliate by driving a knife on the former’s chest, the police report said.
Robles was taken to the Iloilo Doctors’ Hospital.
